- Someone who constantly thinks about what the opportunities are to get the customer’s name and message out there. And takes the initiative to make it happen.
- Someone who loves collaborating with international companies where most of the work is done in English.
- And someone who has done it all before for years.
Your profile and job content
Your development: We envision you starting as a PR consultant and developing into a partner over the course of a few years.
We don’t expect you to bring in customers yourself, but we do expect you to love making a customer succeed and coming up with great stories. You will be responsible for customers as you come in on them.
You’ll be creating 7-10 new initiatives every month, so there are a lot of balls in the air in the agency.
Collaboration: You love sharing your work and getting feedback from others – at all stages of the work. We talk about every task together and make sure we utilize each other’s skills to create the best possible outcome for the customer. We’re a team, every day – but we each drive our own projects forward.
You are used to documenting your work as we share information with customers and each other about what we do: What media we engage with, what they respond to – and what else we spend our time on. We have systems that help with reporting and much more.
You’re extremely inquisitive and passionate about learning everything about a customer: our customers love it when we’ve studied their business and products thoroughly so we can spot story opportunities. And of course, you read several media outlets every day, so you know what the media prioritizes.

Who are we?
Kemp & Kjær is a specialized PR agency focusing on impact technology, but we also have other types of clients. Most of them are B2B, so we typically look for other avenues than big front page stories.
Our mission is to help the technologies that make the world a better place reach the world faster and wider. This is our greatest contribution to a better world. For example, the A-power of the future or energy-efficient food technology. And it can be summed up as, in terms of ESG, we are more into ironed shirts than Icelandic sweaters.
That’s why we have a broad international network that both provides us with customers for PR in Denmark and which we use to create PR for our Danish customers around the world.

Status of the agency
Kemp & Kjær are two Jutlanders in Copenhagen with almost 10 years of collaboration on PR.
We’ve had employees before and unfortunately experienced a downturn in 2022 that didn’t reverse in time, but we now have a stable base and a good influx of customers, so we’re ready to expand again.
We have healthy values and we live them. Among other things, it deals with that we do not do “gunslinger PR”: An uninteresting story is worthless, even if it is published in Børsen.
Our office is located in “Jernbanebyen” close to Dybbølsbro, featuring old plank floors and sublime coffee from self-service, giant barista machine. A handful of other growth companies make up the company for lunch and Friday bar. And we have our very own top-notch online meeting room, which we use daily for customer meetings.
NB: We have small children ourselves, so we know about flexibility in practice. If you want to work part-time (e.g. 30 hours), that’s an option.
